Among the traditional recipes, the most popular are very similar: the recipe of Le Beccherie restaurant in Treviso (Veneto region) and the one of Albergo Roma in Tolmezzo (Friuli Venezia Giulia region).

The ingredients are exactly the same.

These ingredients inspired the ORIGINAL category: a challenge for those who believe that the tradition needs to be respected.

TIRAMISÙ WORLD CUP’S CHOICE

We tried them and we chose them: the best tiramisù in the world will be prepared with these are the ingredients.

We will reveal them a little at a time: good things should be enjoyed slowly.

THE PLATE

The Official Tiramisù World Cup Plate will be branded Tognana Porcellane: a unique and limited edition porcelain, made just for our competitors’s Kit and our Gourmands.

Its size will be around 18 x 24 cm, so just one single portion of Tiramisù will be required to deal with the Selections. The challenge will be more and more exciting!

Don’t be too lazy though: the large group of the Semifinal and Final Juries could be particularly finicky!

It will also be a perfect reason to discover Treviso, also called The Little Venice of the mainland, and its wonderful surroundings: the Sile River, the Venetian Villas, the Prosecco Hills, and more.

ENVIRONMENTAL FRIENDLINESS,
REDUCING WASTE

We will mix industrial quantities of Savoiardi, eggs, mascarpone, coffee and sugar and we will cover them with a veil of cocoa: it will be a huge Tiramisù Party.

We will arrange it in an extraordinary cultural mixture of ages, professions, different origins: all us, united by the most recognizable and special dessert in the World, the Tiramisù. We will meet us in an incredible territory, which is the Treviso area, well know for its art, culture, history, food, wine and experiences that are one of a kind.

It will be a wonderful party because we will engage (all of us, the organization, the staff, the Competitors, the Juries, and the audience) to well handle the Separate Collection of Waste, and to avoid food waste: a party can’t be a Party without special care and respect to the environment.

If we will do it, it’s because of Contarina that supported us to became a real GREEN EVENT.

Join the great challenge that will declare the next World Champion of Tiramisù.

You will receive the Certificate of Registration and and you will be able to pick up your Competitor’s kit containing:

– your competitor’s bib
– your apron
– a box with the ingredients of the original recipe for each competition you will join
– one (or more) surprise

Everything for only €20, but you’d better hurry up: the places are limited and they are running out fast!

Only people who are 18 or older and non-professionals can join the Tiramisù World Cup. “Professional” means anybody who has worked, in the past 2 years and for at least 6 months even if non-consecutive, in a professional kitchen or in a bakery and pastry kitchen, in any capacity. Assistants (waiters, shop assistants, bartenders) are not to be considered as professionals.
