Did you join the live show? On Sunday 29 November, from the headquarters of the Tiramisù World Cup in Treviso, the “Tiramisù Global Marathon” took place, a global event created in collaboration with the Tiramisù Academy. During the 8 hours of live event, non-professional chefs prepared their own personal version of Tiramisu, sharing their passion directly from the home kitchen!
Just like being at a big family party, Tiramisu lovers from all over the world were connected… more than 16 countries and each in their own local language! Moreover, at 4 p.m., in the time slot dedicated to Young Chefs, more than 70 children were live and enjoyed this delicious experience together… they even received a wonderful book from the famous mouse journalist Geronimo Stilton!
During the event there were many special guests, among which Roberto Lestani Presidente della FIPGC, the Italian Sommelier Association, Federico Zani, rugby player of the Benetton Rugby and the Italy national rugby team, Fabio Carbone and Nicola Sorrentino, Professors of the Dipartimento di Studi Europei Jean Monnet, Ugo Massabò, founder of Tiramisugo Award Winning Tiramisu, and Chef Simona Ferretti.
What happened at the end of the live event? We announced the winners of the photo contest “Your Venetian Tiramisu”, a challenge dedicated to Tiramisu inspired by the wonderful city of Venice. The Tiramisù Global Marathon indeed aims to raise funds to support the recovery of Venice and its activities.
