The most delicious challenge of the year starts from the “Capital of Europe”. The 2019 edition of the Tiramisu World Cup was presented at Ca’ Veneto, the headquarters of the Veneto Region and of Unioncamere Veneto in Bruxelles. New competition locations, new partners and for the 2019 Champions the participation in Brazil during the “Week of Italian Cuisine in the World”, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in all the Italian Embassies in the World.
The Tiramisu World Cup starts this year from Bruxelles, presenting itself at Ca’ Veneto (where Unioncamere Veneto is located, ed.) and launching the “European selections” to be held in mid-October, in the heart of the “Capital of Europe”, at the City2 Shopping Center (11st and 12nd October) and the Grand Final at the Hilton Brussels Grand Place (14th October).
Now in its third edition, the TWC will see hundreds of “amateur chefs” (strictly no-professionals, ed.), challenge each other in the preparation of Tiramisu in its original recipe (lady-finger biscuits, mascarpone cheese, eggs, sugar, coffee and cocoa powder) or in a creative one (with the possibility of adding up to three products and replacing the biscuits).
In autumn 2019, before arriving in Bruxelles, the TWC will also stop in Friuli Venezia Giulia, at Villa Manin in Passariano (Udine), with a selection of competition to be held on 21st and 22nd September. Then, in the first weekend of November, the selections will take place in the Treviso area, and Grand Final – according to tradition – in the heart of Treviso city.
